My School Is Different
When I see the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't evoke feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a distant concept. Maybe because my experience there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't hold the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that sticks with me in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I made my passions outside the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.
